About the project
Filming occurred in December 2019 before the COVID-19 pandemic. The objective of this project was to capture testimonials from a diverse range of young travelers about their experiences in Australia - the good, the bad and the ugly - and how it impacted their sense of 'self'.
Special thanks to Backpackers in Paradise for letting us roam in their premises for two days. Two very hot days which is translated into my choice of colour palette during the colour grading process.
